Wiki markup language is an excellent way for power users to write and edit articles quickly and effectively. However, it can be very confusing for end users. In an interview with the BBC, even Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia) recognised this problem:
"If you click edit and you see some Wiki syntax and some bizarre table structure - a lot of people are literally afraid ... 
They're good people and they don't want to break something."
 
The BlueBridge Wiki Extensions are designed with end users in mind and so it was important for us to offer an editor where end users don't have to learn any code.
